Did you not get my email last week? I sent you a long email from the mission office because I had to go to Lima for Visa stuff and we were there for 3 days, which really messed up my our work.
This week has been a tough one with investigators. Peruvians work so hard and never have time so they never come to church and if you don't go to church at least 3 times then you can't get baptized. It has been rough. Also it has been rough because we have two families that are so great and actually go to church, it takes 30 days for them to get married so that kinda sucks. It looks like we wont have a baptism until next month but it will be two families. My mission president preaches "only teach families" not literally but kind of, we only have one investigator that isn't in a family.
This week has been good other than that. I got a cheeseburger and a shake in Lima. It was tigghhht! Ohhhh I'm writing today because we had transfers this week which means I already have been here 6 weeks, crazy! But me and my companion are still together and he is freaking awesome. Half our zone is gone which makes me sad. I had so many homies! 2 sisters finished their mission so if you ever see a sister Jameson around talk to her, hahaha.
The package thing really does work my gorgeous mother and friends. And I got a lot of letters this week: 1 from Dana and 2 dear elders from Dana, 2 letters from Whitney and a dear elder from Whitney (chu the best gurl). I got another gorgeous letter from my dear aunt Lala and Mer! And I think that is it.
Mom, I want pictures of the snow and the mountains and some of my beautiful long hair. Also the 120 dollars was a suit I bought, but you can't be mad cuz I looks good in it! I want more PICSSSSS!
Love you all so much and I'm just soaking the whole experience in right now! It is Crazyyyyyy. The language is good. Hopefully by the time we talk in Christmas i'll be fluent. Pray for that!!
Elder Adams
P.S. Your letters are the best, Mama!
